Review of Tease (Temptation #4) by Ella Frank

5 Stars

Tease - verb: to tantalize especially by arousing desire or curiosity often without intending to satisfy it....unless your name is Tate Morrison.

It’s been four years since Logan Mitchell walked into Tate’s life and irrevocably changed it. Four years since the sexy as sin lawyer dared him to try, and four years since Tate won his love.

Now, as they approach the next chapter of their lives Logan is determined they won’t end up like many of their friends. Settled. Domestic. Boring. However, that’s easier said than done. With busy careers and working odd hours, finding time for one another is becoming increasingly difficult.

But that sh*t isn’t going to fly with Logan or Tate. The two of them are determined to compromise to get what it is they want, and what they want is each other.

Tease is the sexy, tantalizing continuation of the two men who stole your heart... and popped your cherry.

We cannot begin to imagine our good fortune, another Logan and Tate book, and these boys are our ultimate m/m couple.  Tease starts off 4 years after the last edition in the Temptation Series and even with busy lives these guys are still hot.

So, I agree with a lot of other readers out there, there isn’t a lot of substance in this book.  But it is Logan and Tate, do you need substance? Let’s be honest, you are reading this book because you loved Ella Frank’s first 3 Temptation installments; Try, Take and Trust.  And Tease is classic Ella Frank.  Sweet, sexy and so so so hot!  So yes, there isn’t angst, or drama to name, but it is a lovely visit with characters we LOVE.

And even 4 years later, Ella Frank stays true to Logan and Tate.  Although they have grown up, and together, they are still the same men.  Logan is all charisma and smooth and Tate is still loving and thoughtful, and are still a great couple.  They do still have a bit of their same problems, Logan is still concerned that Tate will regret giving up so much to be with him, and Tate is still struggling with his mother and sister choosing not to be in his life, but it wouldn’t be the Temptation series without these personal issues.

One of the gems of Tease is seeing all their friends and family 4 years later.  The Popped Cherry is now open, Cole and now have 2 children, we even get to visit ex-barista Robbie, Tate’s dad and the people at Logan’s law firm.  The other fantastic past is the heat between Logan and Tate.  They have always been very dirty boys and Tease does not disappoint!  There is a scene at the ban at their cabin that is RIDICULOUS and the book is worth buying just for that.

We have rated Tease a solid 5, and we don’t usually explain why, but even with the lack of substance, the slight cliffhanger at the end, we love Logan and Tate and are just SO happy to have them back!
